1, formula
When designing the formula, it should be noted that the content of starch should be low but not absent. Generally speaking, it should be greater than 10% and less than 20%, generally around 15%. Because less starch has an impact on the water resistance of the pellets, and the increased dust in the finished product affects the appearance of the pellets; and when designing the sinking formula, the fat content is higher than that of the float, generally 5-8%. Furthermore, plant raw materials are easier to puff than animal raw materials.
2. Screw configuration
When producing sinking material, pay attention to the configuration of the extruder screw. It is different from the configuration of the floating material. It requires the material to stay in the cavity for a short time (the same equipment, compared with the floating material, the floating material is 30-35S, The sinking material is 20-30S). And the shearing force should be small, and the discharge temperature should be relatively low. Therefore, the screw at the discharge end should not be used for sinking, and the pressure relief port on the expansion cavity should be opened as much as possible; there is also after kneading the sheet The screw (in the direction of the discharge port) is replaced with a steep face to the discharge end, so that the material is quickly ejected from the mold.
3. Control of moisture
In the production of sinking material, the amount of water added in the conditioning is more than that of the floating material (the floating material is generally about 25% out of the conditioner, and the sinking material is generally about 28%), and it can be appropriate in the expansion cavity Add 2-3% tap water, which is more conducive to the production of sinks.
4. Control of tempering temperature
Generally speaking, there is not much difference in the temperature between the production of floating material and the production of sinking conditioner, both of which are above 90℃, so as to facilitate the starch maturation of the material. The maturation of the sinker is generally 70-85%, and the temperature of the float 80-95%, but some formulas of sinking materials cannot be increased to 90℃ but can only be around 60-80℃ due to design reasons. In this case, the water addition amount of the conditioner can be reduced and the water addition amount of the puffing cavity can be increased, and possibly the conditioning temperature can be added.
